The Loon is the ideal paddle for recreational users. Made using solid basswood the Loon is lightweight and comfortable on the hands, making it the perfect choice for flat-water and lake canoeing. The tip of the Loon is edged with Bending Branches’ Rockgard® protection.
*Due to the varied density of wood, all canoe paddles could have a +/– 10% variance in weight. Paddle weight is based on 54 inch measurements for straight shafts and 50 inch measurements for bent shafts.
Bending Branches' Rockgard protection is a proprietary technology - derived from the same material as inline skate wheels - that maintains the integrity of the paddle, seals against moisture and protects the most vulnerable areas - the tips and edges.
