Palm Atom Men's Pants

The Palm Atom Pants are designed to keep your legs dry on the river or sea while allowing a versatile approach to what you wear on the water.  Made from Palms XP3 layer waterproof and windproof material and XP4 layer sewn in socks with a high twin waist allowing them to overlap with your jacket to keep water out round your middle.  

• The Palm range of trousers features a straighter seam design to both reduce the amount of taping and wear to help you get the most out of the product.  
• XP3 waterproof fabric that feels tough yet isnt too heavy is easy to move around in. The Atom Pant uses Supplex nylon face fabric which is a long lasting, abrasion resistant, and fast drying fabric backed with a tricot lining to help protect the waterproof membrane and improve the movement of water vapour through the fabric. The Atom pants also feature reinforced 320D panels overlaid on the knees and seat and soles of the socks for increased durability.
• Twin waist The high waist means a drier fit, a better overlap between the bottom of your dry top and the top of the trousers and no awkward gaps when you are kneeling or bending while paddling.  The inner blue waist is elasticated with a grippy anti slip band to help keep it in position while the outer neoprene band has velcro adjustment to help get a good tight water-resistant fit around your waist.  Water trapped in between the waist tubes drains via laser cut holes.
• Sewn Socks made with XP4 keep your feet dry with ample room for a high boot or gaiter under the ankle cuff Palm use a heavier nylon fabric on the socks and tape the seams on the inside and out to make them as durable as possible.  To improve comfort and keep them from getting too smelly wear socks inside the dry trouser.  Palm make the very warm and fleecy Tsangpo sock which works brilliantly for this.
