The Gripper deck is Whetmans no compromise, full on white-water neoprene deck, the full 4mm deck has a monstrously powerful 12mm shock cord stitched at its circumference. Aramid edging provides extra protection on the outside edge & a generous rubber coating on the inside edge makes sure no water is coming in.
