The Whetman Pressure deck has a 4mm neoprene deck panel and waist tube, combined with super tough woven Aramid protection around the edging. All the seems are glued and double blind stitched. They are pretty bomb proof!
The Pressure deck also has a super sticky latex coating around the outer inner rim that providers a super dry seal against the kayak cockpit rim. These are series decks for paddlers who are looking for a no compromise DRY deck.
The Pressure deck is a high performance whitewater & dynamic sea kayaking deck. The reinforcement covers all the areas that may be exposed to knocks & scuffs on the rim to the very back of the deck. The powerful 10mm shockcord will lock the deck on solidly to resist the water pressures of whitewater & heavy seas.
