Delivery and Return

Standard Delivery 3-5 Working Days (excluding Highlands, non Mainland UK & Northern Ireland and all Kayaks)

 
Orders with a value of £9 and over are eligible for free delivery.  If your order is less than £9 the delivery cost for your order will be calculated by your shopping cart before checkout. To qualify your order must not include any kayaks or sit on top kayaks and can not be shipped to the Highlands, non Mainland UK or Northern Ireland.

We will aim to dispatch orders received Monday - Friday before 1400 hours that day 
(excluding Bank Holidays).  If your order is placed after 1400hrs it will be normally be dispatched the next day working day. 

Smaller Items will be sent using the the most cost effective and reliable service usually Royal Mail Signed For or Collect Plus.  Orders for multiple items or large single items such as paddles may be dispatched using UPS or TNT.  

If you choose this delivery option and do not qualify based on the items ordered or the shipping location we will in certain cases contact you to discuss any additional delivery costs before dispatching the order.

UK 1-2 Working Days Delivery (excluding Highlands, non Mainland UK & Northern Ireland)


Please select this delivery option for a quicker delivery.  Please do not select this option if your order includes any kayaks or sit on top kayaks and the shipping address is in the Highlands, non Mainland UK or Northern Ireland.

Orders will be sent using the the most cost effective and reliable service usually UPS or TNT on a 24hour service.  Tracking information is available upon request.

If you choose this delivery option and do not qualify based on the shipping location (ie Highlands, non mainland UK & Northern Island) we may in certain cases need to contact you to discuss any additional delivery costs before dispatching the order.

Scottish Highlands and non-mainland UK (3-5 Working Days)

For all non mainland United Kingdom orders please select  'Highlands and non-mainland UK' upon checking out.  The delivery cost for your order is calculated by your shopping cart before checkout.

We class the following post codes as the Scottish Highlands : All IV post codes, KW1-14, PA34, PA37-39, PH19-26, PH30-40, PH49-50, PH41 Sector 4.

The Isle Of Wight, Isle Of Man, Channel Islands and Northern Ireland also fall into this delivery section. 

Rest of Europe

Please note that we don't ship to all European countries and we don't ship to anywhere else in the world. Orders will be dispatched either via courier or Royal Mail recorded delivery. Delivery can take up to 12 working days to European countries and 2-5 days for the highland and non mainland UK.
We currently ship to Austria, Czech, France, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Norway, Sweden and Switzerland.
 

Kayak Delivery

We are able to ship kayaks up to 6 meters in length with Tuffnells Parcel Express to most of the mainland UK. Due to carrier restrictions we are unable to ship Canoes or Composite kayaks.  Please contact us if you wish to discuss local delivery options.  

Kayaks under 3m are currently £25 to ship to mainland UK addresses excluding Highlands and all Islands.  Kayaks between 3m and 6m cost £60 per boat to ship please select the relevant 'Kayak Delivery'  option depending on the number of kayaks ordered when checking out to add the delivery costs to the order. If you wish to purchase more than 2 Kayaks please contact us directly.

We are sorry but we are unable to ship Kayaks to Europe.


Important Information

  1. When accepting your delivery on any of our goods please check the items are in a satisfactory condition before you sign and advise us immediately of any problems. The driver will wait while you check. You can sign for goods as damaged. We can then sort out getting the item replaced.
  2. If there is a delay in us dispatching it to you which means it will be longer than the stated number of days then we will let you know by email or phone if you leave us your number.
  3. We retain the right to cancel and refund any order where the delivery address does not correspond to the delivery option paid for.
  4. It is often easier to deliver things to your work address so please use that when ever possible. Otherwise a residential address is fine!

Ordering Out of stock items


We endeavor to keep stock levels on this site as up to date as we can. However if you order an item that is out of stock and we haven’t warned you we will send you can email the day you place your order if it's in working hours to let you know. 

If you come across an item that is out of stock you can leave us your email address and you will get an email when it is back in stock.
 

Please note that you are responsible for selecting the 'right' delivery option and we may in some cases contact you after the order has been placed to arrange for additional delivery costs to be paid if the incorrect option is selected.

Returns and Refunds


You have the right to cancel your order for any reason within 28 days.  The cancellation period will expire 28 days from the day you receive your order or in the event of items being dispatched serparately on the date you receive the last item. 

Whitewater do not cover the cost of returning the goods to us, however we can advise on the cheapest method.  Please retain your proof of postage until we have received the items back.

Good returned to us must be unused and in a saleable condition with all labels still attached.  Please include a returns form or the relevant information to allow us to refund you.


If the goods you receive are damaged or faulty in anyway we can arrange a refund and cover the cost of the return postage. However any damage that could have been spotted on an initial inspection of the goods when they were received should be stated when the goods are signed for. Any damage to the goods, for example dents in boats, need to be stated upon receipt. We can't issue refunds in such circumstances.

Exchange of Goods


If you would like to exchange for an alternative size/variant/model etc we will happily supply replacements, subject to stock availability. An additional charge for postage will be made to cover handling, and return carriage costs. All items returned must be unused and with their original labeling and packaging intact.

A completed returns note* and a copy of your receipts must also be enclosed. Please do not send original receipts as we cannot guarantee to return them.

* your returns note must include:
  • Your name, address and phone number
  • Your reason for return
  • A list of the items included.
We can't do refunds or exchanges in the following circumstances;
  • You have used the items outside.
  • You don't have the original receipts and labels
  • The item is not in a resalable condition.
